New Drug Candidate Developments - The CAM Core Facility partners ISAR Bioscience

The Core Facility (CAM) is glad to announce a new collaboration with the drug discovery and research company ISAR Bioscience aimed at testing innovative therapeutic principles and drug candidates for the treatment of autoimmune and neurodegenerative diseases.

ISAR Bioscience is developing therapeutics based on an mRNA platform technology, as well as specific antibodies targeting novel and disease-relevant mechanisms for the treatment of a broad range of diseases.
The company is now carrying out preclinical studies jointly with the CAM core facility, which is especially experienced in investigating new therapeutics in vivo.
The Core Facility (CAM) at the Biomedical Center is a scientific unit of the LMU Munich providing scientists a platform to develop therapeutics in accordance with the legal requirements of the European and national (German) law and regulatory authorities. In addition, the CAM team supports scientists during both the planning and the realization of the experiments, and provides technical advice and expert counseling in relation to legal authorities and government offices.
