Helmholtz-Institute for RNA-based Infection Research

The Helmholtz Institute for RNA-based Infection Research (HIRI) is the first institution of its kind worldwide to combine research on ribonucleic acids (RNA) with infection biology. The institute, led by Professor Jörg Vogel, is part of the Helmholtz Center in Braunschweig and is located on the medical campus of the University of Würzburg.
ISAR Bioscience collaborates with HIRI, among others, in the PhD program RNAmed, which is also led by Professor Vogel.
